Assessment

In a GIS class, the child’s performance is not only evaluated by conducting tests or examinations but the child’s efforts and work are also respected. The facilitators, through keen Observation as well as record-keeping, plan individual Projects to enable each child to learn what he/she needs in order to improve himself herself. Therefore, observation plays an important role in GIS techniques.
As far as the assessment is concerned, it is an ongoing process, which goes on throughout the year. It comprises Systematic Observation in terms of behavior, expression, thought process and thought to provide. Eventually, we bestow appropriate information about the development of a child over time.
